The Workshops

Join me in the Wonky Cottage at Our Secret Garden on one of My Cultured Kitchen’s interactive workshops where you will learn how to make and produce your own deliciously nutritious cultured and fermented foods.

Sourdough bread is always a winner. I will take you through the process of making your own rustic loaf and show you how easy it is to keep your starter fed and happy. For me baking bread is therapeutic and incredibly rewarding and I would dearly like to share this with you on a full day workshop!

Did you know that a tablespoon of fermented veggies is equivalent to about 8 probiotic tablets? That is a good enough reason to get busy fermenting and making your own veggies. Learn how to make my spin on kraut, kimchi, fermented relish and fermented tomato sauce.

Host your own Workshop at a venue of your choice for your friends or colleagues.

Just want to learn to make one or two ferments? No problem, I can do pop-up workshops of your choice. How about kombucha, water kefir and fermented lemonade.

Fermented Beverages Workshop

All workshops are interactive and hands on. You will receive detailed notes and where applicable, cultures or starters will be shared. Numbers are limited to between 4 and 6 people. Details of what you will need to bring along as well as the address will be emailed to paid participants. Bookings are confirmed on full payment. There are no refunds on cancellation unless the event is cancelled by the organizer.
